Could a single sentence change the course of your child's day?

I always dreamed of raising my children to know and love Jesus—of filling our home with warmth, laughter, and a deep sense of belonging. I wanted to be the kind of mom whose words reflected His love, whose patience drew her children in, and whose presence brought peace.
But the reality was different.
In the thick of sleepless nights, hormonal changes, and the daily chaos of motherhood, I found myself snapping, yelling, and reacting in ways that broke my heart. I didn’t want to just talk about Jesus—I wanted my kids to see Him in the way I loved them, especially when they messed up. I longed to respond with calmness, to speak with gentleness, and to guide with grace. I tried so many methods, but nothing seemed to last beyond a few hours.
Then, in my lowest moments, God met me.
He gently showed me how to speak life—not just correction—into my children’s hearts. How to bring His truth into the messiest moments. How to pause, pray, and parent with purpose. And slowly, I began to change. My patience grew, my reactions softened, and the atmosphere in our home started to shift.. And now I parent from a place of grace, not guilt.

And the most beautiful part? I see the changes in my children too.
